This short experimental documentary film was made possible by the Sacramento City Office of Arts + Culture (OAC), Sacramento Loaves and Fishes, and the Mustard Seed School. As a grantee of the Seeding Creativity Grant from OAC, Alexandria Griffith, in collaboration with Sacramento-based filmmaker Jade Tabayoyong, created this film to share the joy and importance of making space for art in our lives; particularly in the lives of the future generations. The documentary is a mixture of fantasy and archive, where seeds of creativity symbolize the need to nurture both our youth and inner child. The documentary also showcases fragments of various guided body-mind explorations led by Alexandria throughout the summer program at the Mustard Seed School with the intention of spreading and sharing joy through the art of movement. Grant project from 2022-2023.
